Ingredients
Makes 2 servings
1 ¾ cups Natura Barista Premium Oat beverage
¼ cup 70% dark chocolate, chopped
1 tbsp. cocoa
1 tbsp. granulated sugar
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
⅛ tsp ground cloves
⅛ tsp ground nutmeg
¼ tsp. vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Topping: whipped cream, grated dark chocolate and cinnamon for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the Barista Premium Oat Drink over medium heat until it begins to simmer, but do not bring to boil.
- Add the chocolate and cocoa, whisking continuously until the chocolate has completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Add the sugar, spices and pinch of salt, whisking to combine the spices with the chocolate. Simmer for 2-3 minutes over low heat, continuing to whisk to develop the flavours.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla extract. Pour into cups and, if desired, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon or grated chocolate.
